PINK 70 GRAN COUPE ?
« on: January 01, 2006 - 06:57:24 AM »
I am looking to find how many Pink 1970 Gran Coupe's were built. Options are as follows--383 4V, Pistol Grip 4-speed, 323 Sure Grip, Black Vinyl Top, Rally Dash and Black Interior. It is an original FM3 car. I was lucky, Build Sheet was still in the drivers seat.   BTW-- this is a very good Mopar Site. :feedback:

I don't have any Gran Coupes in my database. The only one I've heard about is in Peru but I haven't gotten confirmation on it.

You can check out other FM3 Barracudas and 'Cudas on my site at www.PantherPink.com

Pink Gran Coupe. Man, that blows me away. I never thought they used that color on GC's. Learned something new.
BTW, it looks really good. I really dig Moulin rouge Cudas

Man no disrespect to your car, I just don't know why anyone would buy a pink Cuda or Challanger back in the day? It's just too bright for my taste.

Pink was "in" for 1970, I have a stash of non-automotive (Playboy) magazines from 1970, there are several ads for pink clothing for men. Chrysler was just trying to capitalize on the "pink" craze.
