I can't beleive that 71 Chally Viper car only sold for 65K, I think there was a yellow one on Cars-online that was listed for 300K.   :screwy:

I'm sure he is cryin right now.  go to BJ.com and see the results for the cars today, T?A sold for 30 to 60 K reg chally's sold for 15-45K. these were prior to TV coverage.  thinking Biased towards Mopars.

You know that challenger would be tough to build for that number...but it looks like the cars that either are period correct, or appear correct, are bringing the big $$  I'd say that was a great buy....heck i got more than that in my 70 cuda now, and it's not even road ready yet!

Anybody want to venture a guess at what the 70 hemicuda droptop will bring tomorrow?   I'm going to say 7 figures, and maybe over 2 million.

That was a relief!  I was dreading that clone Challenger with the Viper motor going for $100k+ or something, thereby 'automatically' making any clean Challenger convert clone worth similar bucks...  So, good, the real and rare cars are getting decent and/or big bucks, and the clones and less rare cars are getting realistic bucks... Good news for me, since I want the prices to stay where they are now just long enough for me to grab one while there's still time!

Uhhhhh...67 GTX hemi clone sold for 105K first day of auction. Seems to me the buyers at B-J are looking for "done" cars or excellent condition survivors. The cars that may be original but need some resto are not bringin the $$ of even clones, if the clone is a turnkey show car.

Kind of makes sense....look at the bidders tonite....does not look like too many of them are familiar with turning wrenches!

Maybe i'm way off but them last 2 challengers seemed to bring way less then I was expecting. A 440 R/T Chally with a hemi and shaker only 67K.   :screwy:

I agree with oldschool, if i could have been there when it started I could have had another nice chally for 15-20K plus 8% , tonight most cars were in the 100k Range and this weekend they will only get higher.

I too was dissapointed in the totals of the challengers compared to the other Mopars. I was blown away by the price fetched on the purple 70 Road Runner Hemicar.  :eek2:
