i have a 73 340 block and i am kinda curious as to how much one is worth

Since a 73 is a cast crank,unless its a bare block,wouldnt be worth as much as a 72 and older.But its worth as much as someone will pay for it,lol.I have seen the earlier blcoks sell for 4-5 hundred on epay.Another thing that would determine its value is if it is bored out or standard bore

wart1de, here is the VIN on my 73 340 in my car 3B 380852. Let me know if it is yours, I would like to reunite the motor with its owner. Of course the owner would have to help me get another 340 for my car.
