Got my 70 Cuda restored wiper motor back
« on: January 03, 2006 - 01:07:20 PM »
I got my restored wiper motor back for my 70 340 Cuda and it looks fantastic. Thought I would share with you who did it and pictures of it. I sent it off to Mopar Essentials out of St. Catharines, Ontario Canada. They restore your core which I sent them or you can buy one out right. I sent mine in and for $195.00 + 28.66 shipping here is what I got and it comes with a full 4 year mechanical warranty. Rick is the guy I dealt with and he does great work and is a very easy person to deal with. He advertises in Mopar Collectors Guide and even has a web site www.wiperman.homestead.com so you can check out his work. Just thought I would pass this on as I always like other people to know when their is a vendor out their we should know about.

That looks great. I know I cross my fingers everytime I have to use my wipers, which isn't often(thankfully). Does anyone remember driving to Carlisle last year???  :stomp: :stomp: :stomp:

Yes, great thank you I need a 2-speed. I hope they take a 3-speed as a core, I don't need it.

keep in mind i'm new to this... Is that red sealant the way my 70 challenger should look? Or did they look that way 36 years ago when new?

Yeah, the red sealant is correct. They just globbed it on with a brush from the factory.

I bought one of the NOS ones to adapt over to my 72 model. He was selling them for $85+ship thru the holidays. They look nice as well. If you aren't worried with numbers, it is a good alternative that looks great and functions as new w/1yr warranty.
