I went back today with 12 large in hand. I checked all the panels with a magnet, and it checked out. All steel. I pulled out the wad-o-cash, and he said no. He's firm on $15K. I told him that it would take me a few weeks to get the rest, and that I would give him $2K today to hold it, and come back with the rest when I picked up the car. He wasn't interested in that either. "So what's the big deal Pitbull", you say, "just go get the other $3K, and go get it." I almost started WWIII this weekend with my wife. She started out with no F'ing way, we can't afford it!!
And I got her talked into $10K, if I sold off all my other stuff. I went ahead and withdrew $12K, knowing the beating I was going to take, but an extra $2K worth of beating I can handle. An extra $5K? My divorce would cost me more than that, so I'd have to sell the Cuda anyway.
So, here's my dilemma: Do I sell off all of my stuff, plus start saving OT checks in the hopes of getting enough money to get it before someone else comes along with the money, or do I go by the old saying, "Two Cuda's in the hand is worth one in someone else's yard"? If I bust my hump in OT, and start selling things off, I could have the extra money in a few months. Also, please go here
