A Few Photos of Lucy at the River
« on: January 04, 2006 - 09:04:38 PM »
Gave Lucy a clean and took her out for a drive today.  :bananasmi
Stopped down at the river 2 minutes from home to take some snaps on my way back.  :picture:

Cheers,

Not quite....

She has to go in for her buff and polish. We didn't get around to it last year because time ran out + I wanted to drive her up North and if I got stone chips etc they would be fixed. She'll go in for a couple of weeks, in a couple of weeks or when ever I feel like.

Have to fix the passenger mirror as it wobbles a bit. Have to touch up some interior pieces. Little bits be she is basically 95% complete.

Thanks 4C

Lookin' AWESOME, Carl! I don't mind the thumbnail format too much.... it actually works better when someone posts pics that are too wide to fit the screen, then ALL posts have to be scrolled from left to right to be read!

Simply beautiful!!!!  :clapping:

I think with all the pictures of Lucy we have enough pictures for next years Calendar!  It would be a tribute to Lucy!  She looks great!

But one question:  if you're at the river, where's the water in the pics?  Is it way in the background?  It would be cool to have Lucy near the water to get some reflection shots (I think there's one floating around of the 2009 Challenger like that) but don't get stick in the mud/dirt!!!!!

Thanks everyone....I wasn't going to post them as I don't want to bore you guys or flood you so much you get sick of her.  :lol2:
But you asked for them!  :icon16:

Superblue - Good call, the water is behind her I am looking back up the bank. There are plenty of trees in that location so it was hard to get a good shot of the water. All other areas were crowded so I drove way past everyone. I've attached a photo of what the river looks like.

Thanks once again,
Carl

NZ--I'm gonna add to the compliments here.  Lucy is simply beautiful to look at.   :worshippy  I am sure she is equally fun to drive.  :burnout:  A real head-turner.  When I look at pics of her, it makes me want to go straight out and rent the original "Vanishing Point" with Barry Newman. My own car doesn't even make me want to do that.   :cooldancing:  .........................Oldschool
