I'm not crazy about it. If it takes just as long for the pictures to download, why make them smaller???  :dunno:

I agree, I too prefer the normal sized photos.
Between 600-750 x 500-750 pixels are what I set mine at and they are a good size.

:iagree: They take just as long to download now... but it does help with the scrolling.

TeeJ when you post photos now they are a fixed size (box) about 180 x 180 pixels big.

See, here is a demo.

Thanks Carl.... I actually figured it out eventually, but I had to re- login first to reply to this thread.... without logging in, I wasn't able to see ANY pics! Does this enable us to upload bigger, higher res photos, or do we still have the same size restrictions?

Is there anyway to program the site to automatically resize pictures to a standard size? So when people attach a pic and push post, it resizes first then posts on site. Probably not, that woudl be too easy..lol.   :banghead:

Well, I don't think we tried to try that   :grinno: Ross updated the software and that was one of the new default settings.

I guess that explains why I had to re-log in today. :grinyes:

I like the way it is today, same as DC.com. It works well.
