New Board Updates
« on: January 06, 2006 - 06:46:14 PM »
We have recently upgraded to the latest forum software, which i think looks much better.  More importantly it allows us to modify our forum to include member favorites mods, the member map, and the chat.  The member map is up and appears to be working.

The chat is good news bad news.  The bad news is that it isnt working yet.  The good news is the people know about it, it isnt working for them either, and are currently working to fix it.

Im not 100% sure the map and chat will work together.  Im 90% sure we will be able to get them to work together.  But for the time, have fun with the map and im working hard to bring the chat back.

Nothing really.
just getting used to the new look. I think I had spent so much time on the older version I could go to things and click on them in the dark. I just need to find my way around.

disregard my first post.  the chat is now kinda working, but not fully functional.  im putting the map on hold until the chat is working properly as i think everyone would much rather the chat then the map.  im gonna work on both, and the compatibility issues have been brought to the attention of the developers so im hoping we get both soon.  so for right now im not garunteeing functionality of either map or chat, whichever is on the board at the time.  we'll get there though.

It looks really nice... a lot more streamlined of a design. Thanks, Ross!

ok at least for the moment, both the chat and the member map seem to be working together.  please do the board a favor and test both out.  let me know in this thread if there are problems.  i havent been able to verify the functionality of the chat stats, but im looking into that.  otherwise let me know what you think.
