Well swapping from an auto can be done but you need all the parts like linkages, z bar and such. The tranny crossmember should be the same. You also need to be sure your crank is drilled for the pilot bushing. That year e body used a 23 spline tranny. You should be able to salvage one from any e or b body. A bodies were shorter.
