Hey Carl,
Well, your R/T was built at the LA plant (all T/As were built at Hamtramck) , and your R/T was built several months before the T/As hit production. So, I would have to guess that the antenna was moved at some point? Was there any evidence that either the passenger side fender or quarter panel or both had been replaced? Is the car coded for a radio or is it radio delete?

Thanks Barry, the car is coded: R35 = 10 watt AM/FM Radio.
The car is all original, original panels and fenders, nothing was moved or changed as far as I could see.

Kind of weird. But I prefer it at the back so it leaves the hood area smooth and clean.

1 other thing not mentioned is the welded Torque plates around the front leaf spring boss on T/A cars
 I cannot get rid of the large dead spots Redline should be ablt to though

Thanks Barry, seems as though someone put my aerial in. Although, there isn't any evidence of it. 
The aerial in the photos of my Challenger is a new one, I have the original in storage.

Could they have possibly put it in the wrong location? 
The fenders at the front matched the age of the rest of the car.

 There would have been no reason I can think of for it to have happened at LA? Maybe it was done by the same person that did the custom spoiler?

CP, no big deal, I have done the same thing before, I even misspelled torque, a toque goes on your head I believe? If I never made mistakes no one would know it was really me.

how hard is it to put a T/A fin on?

It is pretty easy. First Place Auto Products sells them with the correct attaching hardware, visit www.fpap.com for more info.

Here is a diagram of where to drill the holes. If your decklid does not have the correct holes in the underskin, you will have to modify it. FPAP sells marking stencils for this also.

It is not shown on the diagram, but the 4 outer holes 1/4" inch, and the four in the center ar 3/8" inch.

I thought the rear leaf springs where de-arched to gain height in the rear for the exhaust?

Plus I thought the fenders had a larger wheel opening?

the front fender had the Hemi fender with rolled lip the rear springs were standard as far as I know but used the taller rear tire to lift the car
