Cheap, rusty 74 Cuda project car
« on: January 08, 2006 - 08:13:56 PM »
I am selling this 74 cuda project/parts car. If you live in the midwest, i.e. Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, or Indiana, listen up. I doubt if you would want to come any farther for this car. Priced at $1250. If you are a glutten for punishment this car could be restored, but it would probably make a better parts car. 1974 Plymouth Barracuda VIN# BS223G4Bxxxxxx.                                                                                                                                               Here are the negatives: Missing complete drivetrain, motor, tranny, rear end, springs. Also missing front buckets, some chrome trim, front bumper and grille, head & tail lights. Major rust, floor, trunk, quarters. No broadcast sheet. Because of the rust and lack of drive train, this may make a good race car.
Now for the good: Clear Indiana title, fender tag shows it had a fair amount of options. (email for fender tag info).
Frame rails are nice, car had disc brakes which are good. Torsion boxes look sound. Hood & front fenders are a little rough, but usable. Actually the whole front clip with doghouse is nice, if someone was trying to repair their own car with a front end hit. Trunk lid is nice. Both doors are sound, all glass is there and nice except lower 6" corner crack on windshield. Also includes pedals, rally dash, console (door is cracked), back seat, front and back door panels. Some other parts are there, just not pictured. Car was never wrecked, whats there is straight, just rusty.
I thought I would put it on the board first, if it doesn't sell by the end of the January, I may EBAY it or part it out. So keep me in mind if your looking for parts. Email me at denmark@hoosierlink.net and I can send pictures. Or call
574 342-7375 days or 342-0169 evenings.

2 1/2 hours north of Indy. So I'm guessing 6 1/2 hours total. Probably 300 miles. Good roads all the way though.
