Somebody explain please 
This whole time, I thought THIS WAS the chat room!! When I click on the chat word, it basically does nothing, what's up?? 
Lumpy, I understand your confusion. This is the forum. The Chat room is separate. It allows a whole group of folks in the same room. You can see who else is in the room and you can all talk at once. (Sometimes it gets confusing about who's talking to who in there). If you are having sign-in problems try this. If you have a security firewall, (Norton eg), you might have to disable the internet security function for a few minutes until you get in. That's what I have to do every time I enter. Two clicks of the mouse and it's disabled. If that doesn't help, PM Redline and see if he can get you straightened out. Hope this helps a little.
