I went to Frys to see if I could find either Vanishing point or Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, and they just had the remake of Vanishing point With Justin Priestly. Does this version Suck compared to the original?

It's OK in terms of eye candy, but really, REALLY Hollywood.  :eek4: Cheesy and corny as hell.  :puke:
You also get a rare glimpse of a 30-speed gear box. He's usually doing about 120mph and still changing gears.  ::)

Good movie but for me nothing like the original.
The original is raw, in the same era as the cars and has no Hollywood BS.

A cult classic.

Both are good but I had to pick VP as almost the whole movie is a car chase and really features the Challenger and you can`t beat those shots of Kowalski slamming that Pistol Grip shifter!

Thanks for the info NZ, I kinda figured it wouldn't be as good as soon as I saw the guy from 90210 in it!
Looks like I'll have to go to the mall to get them. I just put a DVD player in my Garage to go along with the TV so I thought I'd get some cool Car movies to play while I'm working on the car.
