MC...it is absolutely amazing!!  It's also extremely sad to have such an awesome car just collecting dust and acting as a shelf in some barn!!  What are the chances of taking this off his hands?  Awesome find!

If that's what it takes to save a MoPar by all means!   :grinyes:
Different if the car was restored and he drove it but this is just waste!

Good luck mate, I've got my fingers crossed, toes crossed and everything else crossed for you.

:droolingbounce:  I'm like still drooling looking at the pics!  That would look so cool all restored.  Wonder what it would look like.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

:faint: Awesome, and heartbreaking at the same time. Man what a find. Pics were worth waiting for   :clapping:
I'd bug him nonstop till he either sells you the car  :woo: , or has you arrested for stalking  :sadwavey:
In any case, it's worth fighting for  :villagers: Someone has to do something, before the inevitable outcome we've all seen way too many times before :stomp:
 Best of luck M Clown.
My moneys on the guy with unwavering persistence.  :hyper: :jumping: :hyper: :jumping:

moparclown, I would be all over him like slime in an icebox.  :bricks1:  I would tell him that your going to turn him in to the Society for the Preservation of Mopars unless he sells.   :thinkerg:

That would be a amazing car to restore and look awesome once it’s done.  :cooldancing:

Some things I noticed. 1st, who is crawling on that car!!!
2nd, no factory A/C vents in the dash or on the firewall
3rd, not a factory stripe on the rear.

Let us know how you make out with it.

Excellent detective work.   Maybe it wouldn't look so bad after a thorough scrubbing . At least it was indoors with the windows down.
So a guy owns it and not the 80 yr old lady ?    My uncles Challenger had some thrush muffler stickers on it as well.  Next time bring a battery ......

Hope sobody can save it, thanks for sharing. Another observation, I have a 70 500 as well and it has the woodgrain insturment panel and console, my understanding was that was on all 500's, not the black? Anyone know for sure?
