According to the 1971 Challenger illustrated facts and features manual there were two steering wheels available.
The Black poly-propylene in textured coachman grain, three spokes with padded horn button was standard on the Challenger Coupe.
The 3 spoke, simulated wood grain, with padded horn button was standrad on the Challenger and Challenger R/T.
Look on the next to the last page (there aren't any page numbers) it lists the "Tuff Wheel" as an R/T option.

Yea your right Romi. I missed that. At least everyone has a better idea of what is correct and what isn't. Teamwork.
