Dang!!!!  :eek7: I've caught an Octopus about that size up North before.
Didn't realise that had bigger memols as that!  :lol2:


I still want someone to land/catch the Giant Squid.  :grinyes:

Who'da thunk it!  Redline and I went on a night dive once and found a small octopus (bout the size of a dinner plate).  We picked it up (not supposed to...bad, bad diver!).  Those little things have some powerful suction to them!  I was rather shocked!  I never would have thought they could hold down a shark though.

NZ, we get these off our coast every winter. They supposedly put up quite a fight.

ewwwwww, I am totally NOT into some underwater life.  It really creeps me out!   :eek4:  Fishies and Whales, dolphins and sharks are OK in my book though!

Although that squid in your photo is decent, I mean THE Giant squid.
The one scientists are looking for.  :naughty: :biggrin:


Here, like this bad boy........I mean even bigger too, HEAPS bigger than the one below.
I mean the species that would give Moby Dlck the trots.  :lol:

The one above (and mine) are only baby squids really. 3-4 meters at absolute best.
I mean the buggers that are 20+ meters.  :sly: Swallow you whole like you were a bean.  :lol2:
