Keeping The Cuda Fund
« on: January 12, 2006 - 12:27:44 PM »
Is there anyone that is willing to head up a "Save The Cuda" fund?   :1zhelp:  If it is a feasible deal, we could post a "running total" thingy.  You know, zero dollars on one end and $26K on the other.  Move the total along as funds are collected.  Kinda like they do on Jerry Lewis telethon. What do ya'll think?    :cooldancing:  .....Oldschool

It's a secret---don't let Burpin tell Burpin what's going on!

Oh yeah---I was thinking $10.00 each X 3300 members = $33k---that oughtta do it!

Come to think of it, I think you are right.  :-[ I do recall something about that in the back spaces of my mind.

So, he may be MoParless after all.  :crying:

Why does Burpin need to sell his 'Cuda ? I read the other thread but he doesn't explain why.

10 dollars would never be enough as many of those 3300 members have never even posted on this site.  As for deciated members . . . 500 or so??  So we would have to up the donation alittle.   :dogpile:

Burpin will be listing the Cuda in 2 weeks. Unless we can get this rafle thing going. All we really need is 200 people at 100 dollars each. That way the odds are good for anyone getting the cuda. So get all your friends involved and lets get some money together. If we are all serious about this cause burpin knows he is then lets choose a moderator. Rev is good for Burpin. Rev can make up 200 tickets and the drawing can be done at Carisle or something. Burpin really needs the money before then but burpin can prolly borrow the money till then. So yall send the money to rev and if we get 200 tickets sold then we have a rafle. If not you get your money refunded. Burpin will pay for postage if the refund has to be given but burpin know between all of us and our friends we can sell 200 rafle tickets for 100 each. Burpin will bring the Cuda too Carlisle and hand the keys over too the winner. this will probably need to be tweaked some.
