TOTAL BS!  I love it!  Will the NJ DMV let you get away with it?

OL SKOOL looks good to me, too, by the way...

Several years ago, before I owned my Challenger, I went to Garlits show in Ocala (not in hawaii, 4c) and saw a vendor selling "old" vintage tags. I thought it was for novelty, untill I saw one on a 74 Cuda! I stopped him and got the name of the guy where he purchased it.
I had to buy the tag ($50) from him (i picked my own tag from what he had in stock) and send it to tallahassee to have the tag checked and then they sent it back. Its a 1971 vintage tag.
The second year I had it, the state tried to "replace" the tag (Florida tags get replaced every 5 years). I had to go to the tag office and show my arse!!
Its been 8 years now, its only the price of a regular tag and it never gets replaced, but you cant transfer it to any other vehicle unless that vehicle is a 1971!

Very interesting!  I'm trying to find out if something similar can be done in CA....  meanwhile, I found this funny site where you can order authentic-looking plates with any nine-letter phrase you want...  but they are only for show use, not on the streets.  Still, a couple tabs of clear 3M dual-lock (clear plastic super-velcro), and you can snap them on when you park at the show, to cover up your real plates (and identity).  For the show cars in the audience, how about....

HOLY F#CK
KEEEERIST
F#CK COPS

NOT 4 SALE
GOT CASH?

HOW MUCH?
WAY 2 MUCH
SO STUPID
NO F'IN WAY

OK GALEN? (my current favorite)

or just plain old HEMICUDA....

I would think that Mr. Kwik would have 2 meanings.  Being a woman, I automatically jumped to the "bad" one.  I'm just putting this out there for ya OldSchool, so you don't end up with a bunch of women snickering at ya.  :bigshades:

Hey Rev---I appreciate the heads up from the possible female point of view.  I guess with a plate like MR KWIK, the secret would be out.    :walkaway:  Perhaps this plate would work better---SLORIDE.   lol   :roflsmiley:   :cooldancing:  .............Oldschool

here's mine. these were special issue starting in 1982 until about 1987 in California so the car has worn these for 20+ years. Simple and too the point and I think the colors (compared to the std. issue blueplate) compliment the hemi orange car.
(I know...I need to spring for a couple of bolts too )

The officer didn't seem to thrilled with me when he saw the plate.

That's me trying to explain how funny it really is! :naughty:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
