Back in a week.
« on: January 13, 2006 - 01:08:22 PM »
This is my last weekend to finish stripping the car down for body and paint. Next week Monday I will fly to Savannah Ga. on business and from there on Wednesday will fly to Metairie La to visit with family and have surgery on my shoulder next Friday. My sister -in-law works as a surgical tech with the orthopedic surgeon for the New Orleans Saints and she will assist in the operation. Not looking forward to being cut but pretty cool to have it done by him nothing serious just some bone spurs but it should keep me out of the garage for awhile. If I can get the car finished this weekend when I get back I'll send it out and begin the process of patiently waiting for its return.
Not sure what will be harder not logging on to C-C.Com daily or the surgery.  : dunno: Maybe I should start a poll ?
On second though the answer is easy.

Richard, if you get a chance post a few pics of the car after you strip it.   I love to see works in progress.    Hope all goes well with  your surgery....     Kevin

Sounds like a fun filled couple of weeks  :grinno:  I'll keep you in my prayers next Friday for the surgery.  How long will it be till you get back home?  Flying home after surgery doesn't sound like too much fun!

No it does not. :lol2: I must be crazy :screwy:

As long as they don't leave any metal pieces that bother airport security I should be fine. It's going to be a scope and outpatient. I return that Sunday. My wife and daughter are meeting me down there on Thursday Thanks for the prayers Rev. I can always use them.

I'm back  :jumping:

What an adventure. Business was business but on Wensday of last week I got to New Orleans for my pre op stuff  and surgery on Friday. The good Doctor ground off a massive cresent shaped bone spur on my right shoulder and even with the pain following the surgery I was able to have a great visit with family. My wife and daughter joined me in La. on Thursday. We returned home on Sunday but with massive amounts of Vicadin today is the first day I have felt more like myself.
I have my physical therapy to do and the range is coming back day by day.

Thanks for all your good wishes and it sure is good to be back.

I was trying to include some pictures of the procedure but i got this as an error message.
