5.7 Hemi Cams will they work in the MDS motors?

I cant seem to get on to my account with thehemi.com forum page. So I will ask this question here.

I would like to install the XF1273H14 cam and the 26918-16 beehive valve springs in my Hemi.  My motor is a 2005 out of a 300c.
Com Cams Clames it will work. But I am seeing conflicting storys. Does any one know if cam and springs will work with 2005 300c motor?

Buy the February issue of Mopar Muscle. They diid a special on the 5.7 and you should get quite a few of your answers there.

I am almost pretty sure it will because I read about a cam swap in a Charger R/T and all the passenger 5.7 Hemis have MDS.....

Hrm, did a little research at 300cforums and chargerforums. It seems that nobody there has done the cam swap and some guy said that the MDS hemis wont support a bigger lift cam. I dont understand why....the MDS system is mainly run through the lifters, so how could the lifters not support the higher lift??? Im trying to find the place where I read about the Charger that did it, maybe im going crazy. You should call Comp Cams and ask them, if they say yes then make sure they have proof to back it up.

I have the same cam and springs on my o4 truck engine in my 70 cuda  http://mysite.verizon.net/ls6ron/   I don't know why you couldn't convert back to a non mds engine,if you look under the intake ,you will see the solenoids which dump the lifters which are just plugged off on my engine.You would probably have to change lifters and possibly push rods to do it though
