Here is another R/T SE for the count, which is registered at lamopar: JS29U0E126085.

I came across this car in Valdry's auto dismantiling in Gardena, California, in 1997 when I was 15. I was with my grandfather looking for a turn signal lense for Granma's Towncar, and to my suprise, I came across this old bluish grey Challenger.
I popped the hood, and besides being greeted by the 440, I saw these, and my eyes fell out of my head!



The car was largely complete, and Mr. Valdry told me that it actally ran!
 
I kept tabs on the car for the next few years, when I would fly out to Hermosa Beach to visit my Grandparents (I lived on the East coast), we would make the pilgrimage to MY challenger.
I saved my pennies for that car (Mr. Valdry wanted 10K), and when I moved to Los Angeles, I did what any smart Challenger aficiando would do, I bought a 1958 Dodge instead :banghead:. Just for kicks, I went to Mr. Valdry's last year, and Red was gone. I don't know what became of her, but I am sure she is around. She was only missing her exhaust tips, her trunk was rusted out, and the seatback on the driver's seat was broken off.

Another R/T SE I can think of was the triple Black car in the Northeast that was "destroyed" in the eighties. It was one of the few cars with the T/A hood.

I own a RT/SE which I registered with Barry last september. It is an original panther pink (FM3) with the black bubble bee stripe. At the moment it's painted black, but is a numbers matching car.

hello
i just get home a fc7 js29n from usa.i bought it in ohio.it have a 440 and 4speed.it was original with 383 and 4 speed.
i mybee going to put a 528 hemi in it and a5 speed keisler,but i'm not sure yet.i'm going to get it registrated in both registers soon.

Im know of one Yello 440/6 4sp at a friends shop. I went there yesterday and it was parked outside in the snow!  :faint: The second one is a Sublime 440 that my body guy is doing for himself! Sorry no pics but the first one was at the recent World of Wheels show. The second is being done by the BEST bodyman I know...

I'm currently restoring a plum crazy, 383, auto 70 R/T SE. Black interior, bucket seat, floor shift, black vinyl top, non matching numbers. Should have it finished before the end of the year. It will go to auction as soon as it's finished. I would keep it but I have way too many toys already.

I was second owner of a JS29V0B car quite some time back now. The car was Plum Crazy with a white vinyl top and black interior. If anyone knows of a car that fits the description, I can give you some history on it. Not looking to buy it back or anything like that. Just wanting to share the history. I also know who the original and third owner were. Some people want the history of their cars.

I will have to do some digging around for a picture, my buddy here has a R code R/T SE Challenger in Plum Crazy, Black roof, Black interior, real deal Hemi car. :2thumbs:

Is there a thread for just SE Challengers, now they are just as rare :2thumbs:

I will have to have a look, i think it may have been a 4 speed. But i will double check on the 4th of August as that is the next Mopar Sunday and he always has his car on display, i will take pictures and post them back here of inside, outside, and the fender tag too :2thumbs:
