Hey Kev.  We would love to see Burpin keep his car, but he refuses to take the money and keep the car also.  He has his reasons and, in his discussions with me, has been quite adamant about this.  Burpin has been totally involved in this...we're not doing anything that he is not aware of.  We're just trying to do something that will help out two great board members at the same time.

Burpin wouldnt feel right keeping both. If this board is able to raise that kind of money Burpin would be greatfull. CudaGuy is worthy just as much as Burpin. Dont get me wrong free money would be great but Burpin is a man of values and if burpin didnt have anything and truely was deserving then maybe but Burpin makes a good living and got himself into some trouble and needs to raise some quick money and the best way to do so would be too sell the cuda. Besides, Burpin will beable to get another cuda more than CudaGuy can buy his first one. It just needs to be. Burpin thinks it great that you are concerned and Thank you!

Along with the contributions thread, would it be possible for there to be a thread that allows us to write a few words to Cudaguy? That way, we could tell him why we felt we needed to contribute, and what he may have said at one time that that gave us the desire to do so.

And Burpin'........ Wow. What a guy.

And had I not just bought a car I would have been able to help Burpin in a second, that car is awesome and famous to boot!    :bananasmi

Burpin is suppost to know.
The cuda guy isnt ment to know.

What if The Cuda Guy searches his own name, its been mentioned a few times in this thread?

I can't see why he would do that if he suspects nothing.   :dunno:   This is a chance we have to take.

I think that maybe we should sticky a pic of Burpin's car for the members that don't get here very often or have recently joined. That way they know what the car is and what it is all about. Throw in his thread of his burnouts too. That may peak some interest to follow up on the thread. Then hopefully some of them will get involved with this.

If he is locked out of this thread, will a search turn up anything in this thread?

I dont mean to be rude but wasnt the whole point of this was to raise enough for burpin to keep his car!! if he is gonna have to get rid of it anyways why dont Cudaguy just buy it!!  :screwy:  im not sure i understand please dont take this the wrong way but i just dont see the point in this!! I thought we where gonna raise money so burpin could keep the car!! does anyone else understand what im saying?? once again im not being mean or rude or disrespectfull i just lost the plot!!

Well, since Burpin refuses to take the money AND keep the Cuda, we are raising money to buy it ourselves, and give it to The Cuda Guy.

Absolutely!! Go for it!  Anyone can start a new post under this board...we're all in this together. :grinyes:

What if hes viewing whos online and sees someone in this part of the board?

I've made a dummy member ID and have put that ID in the same membergroup classification as CudaGuy so I could test out a different senarios.  When viewing who's online, if someone is viewing this thread it will say for the thread title on CG's computer "Nothing or nothing you can see".  I figure I can explain that away saying it's a computer glich.

Throw in his thread of his burnouts too. That may peak some interest to follow up on the thread. Then hopefully some of them will get involved with this.

And yet another great idea!!!  Burpin can you get us a good pic of your car?

If he is locked out of this thread, will a search turn up anything in this thread?

torch

Nope.  To run some tests of your own (which I would surely appreciate), you can login as a guest.  Guests are not able to view this thread either, so you would get the same response CG will get.
