I just watched a Volkswagen Beetle Cabroliet sell for $47,000.00 dollars. That's right, a fourty seven thousand dollar BUG.  :screwy: People at BJ's will pay anything, for anything.

WOW!!! I can't believe that car hit that number. A friend of mine just bought a '67 clone that was done correctly with the torque boxes, hemi, the whole nine, the paint is awesome, and all of the chrome was completely redone, and he only paid like 48k for his and his from what I saw on the show is a lot nicer. The '68 GTX was a much better car by being a more desireable body and being numbers matching. And what was up with that Dodge Dart was it a 1970, 1971, or a 1973 like the vin said. There is no way that car was a "factory drag car" like they were claiming, that was such a mess of a car, granted the paint looked nice, but the car had no title, and parts came from several years. At most that Dart should have gotten 10k. But keep driving these prices up, hopefully my '71 'cuda clone will bring big money when finished!

They had a blue 68 GTX Hemi supposedly unrestored survivor go for $60,000, they also had a re bodied AAR go for $50,000 - $60,000 I can't remember the exact price.

Yeah, I thought it was somewhere between 50 and 60,  I think they were having a hard time trying to figure out what the seller meant by the car being a rebody?
