Thanks april, I've been told before they had the best prices, I'll keep the number close by. I see you have the gilled rocker panels on your car, any preffered place to buy them, they're more expensive then I thought they would be on ebay?

Sorry for all the questions..lol.

No problem, ask all the questions you want, i don't mind.  The gilled rocker panels were on the car when I bought it.  I don't know if they are real or repro and I have no clue where you can find them.  Did you look on Moparts?

Boy that April is always out front.  She is the first to get the new--"Mopar Milk Crate" motor.  Supposed to be the next BIG thing!  Runs on whole milk, 2%, or even skim milk when needed.   :roflsmiley:   :cooldancing:  ...Oldschool

Looks good April. Any plans to switch over to power steering now since the engine is out? Head work too?

Great work April,  Now is the time to git-r-done since it's cold outside. I also remember being very nervous after getting the cars painted and having the engine hanging over the car. Keep us posted.  Oh and I got the crate joke right away.

I have thought about switching to power steering as my friend has the set up laying around and has offered it to e, but I think I am going to keep it manual.  Now that I am used to it that way I kind of like it.  Plus, if I keep driving it with manual steering I might have a chance at an arm wrestling re-match with Rev at Carlisle this year.  I lost pretty bad last year.  LOL  Redline didn't help me when he was making me laugh either!!!

About the heads, I am having them rebuilt too and adding the bigger 2.02" valves.

You can get a fast ratio steering box with different lock to lock ratios. The old Chrysler power steering feels like your hydroplaning all the time.

Here is a link from the Engine section that explains what I am doing to the motor.  I am not going too crazy, but I will be adding a 6 pak to top it all off!

six Pack performance has been around for a long time!! we got a lot of our stuff there too  really great people!!
