I am sending my prayers as well. I have a friend my age (29) who has had cancer three times, all not related to the previous form.  She is still going for treatments but she has more life and drive in her than anyone I have ever met.  Tell Kimberly to stay positive and to be strong.

Talked with Kim tonight, she is doing well.  Tired all the time, and she gets an upset stomach whenver she eats, but that's to be expected.  Also she's not happy to lose her hair, but she's fighting on.  The worst is over, she says, so that's some relief.  She's already making plans for a couple years in the future, so I know she won't give up.  She's gonna pull through this, I have no doubt in my mind. :)

Glad Kim is doing well, Ghost.  My neice had cancer in her leg when she was about that age, went through chemo, losing her hair and all that, but has been fine for the last 10 years now.  Hope Kims story ends as well.

  Ghost

One thing I did when "my" wife got cancer and started losing her hair was I shaved my head bald and didn't wear any hats....especially when I was with her.   It's kind of a quiet way of helping the one you love by letting them know that they're not alone and that your with her all the way man! thick n' thin...you know!

   God be with you both!

I'm glad to hear Kimberly is doing better.  It sounds like she has a pretty healthy outlook.  Please let her know we are still praying for her.

Well, Kim has a kind of Luekemia.  I can't pronounce it, something like melodyplastic syndrome.  :/  Something like that.

She's in good spirits, doesn't want to eat, though.  Everything tastes different, she says.
