New Hemi crate just arrived

After working with the builder for a couple of months the motor just got delivered today :bigsmile:

This one is going in a customers dragster. Can't wait to hear it run :woohoo:

540 cubic inches and set up for alcohol.

Forgot a picture of the crate. This one was bigger than Aprils

Wow, I saw one of those at the NAIAS last year and was impressed. I sat there staring at is for 10 minutes....the only thing I disliked about it wasthat price tag :22yikes:

I most defintely will be leaving this one as built. The builder for Mopar put 15 hrs of dyno time on it and tore it down for inspection afterwards. This are nice pieces!!

The retail price in Canada is almost $68,000.00 so they aren't cheap by any means.

It had 850 hp on gasoline but is set up for alcohol. With the required change in blower pulley and the alcohol carberators mounted on top it should be well over 1,000 hp.

Just curious to why the buyer didnt get a Barton, Shepherd, or Indy motor for that price....??
