That black Challenger with the red stripe DOES look friggin killer.     Reminds me of the Black corvette with the red stinger hood.    Still though where is a white stripe bumble bee stripe?   I saw the one pic....

I think the bumble makes the car look to short and spoils the lines. The midstripe opting brings out the character line and breaks up all that solid color.

I do like black cars with red bumble bee stripes though.

I dont know if I have ever seen a bumble bee stripe that was white

My challenger originally came F8 green with a white bumblebee stripe. Im changing the color and dont really like the bumblebee stripe, so its definatly not going back on.

Here's another thought on the bumble bee stripe being not too common.

If you had a base non-R/T Challenger with the 340, you could get option code A66 which would include a bumble bee stripe (could be deleted).

I wonder if the people ordering big blocks didn't want thier car to be mistaken as a 340?  Also with the R/T optioned cars, IF they already had a stripe saying thier car was an R/T, they couldn't get both stripes.

Yes?  No? :dunno:

Hey GOMANGO,
here is a pic of the fender tag from my 70 340 car. If you look on the upper right cornor you will see the code V9W--V9 is for the bumble bee stripe and W is for white..
