In magazines I see bumble bee stripes on these cars?  But somehow when you look at members cars here you rarely see bumble bee stripes on Challengers.   Some people like those instead of that 70 style stripe down the side??    Just pondering why is all.

Well I specificly bought a '70 just for the bee stripe. Once it is painted, I will post a pic.

Were bumble bee stripes offered for '70 only?  I think they look nice, IMO.

Did bumble bee stripes ever come on cuda's?

I seen one on ebay with it.  But then again I saw a 4x4 monster truck 69' Charger on ebay as well.   :screwy:

My 70 Challenger was optioned with the Bumble Bee strip and it will be going back on the car when completed.  I like the looks of the Bumble Bee strip.  Someone tried to paint a ralley strip on the car.  As optioned, it should be black on the Plum Crazy.  This will look really good with the black vinyle top that it was also optioned with.   :ylsuper:

I think bumble bee stripes w/o the spoiler look the best on Chally's.. All IMO  e.g. red w/ black bumble..

The bumblebee stripe really makes the rear end of the Challenger look shorter and squarer, in a good way.  It kind of negates the downslope at the end of the trunk, and makes the rear of the car look tougher, IMHO.  That said, I actually prefer the sidestripes because I luuurrrrv the kick-up in the side character bodyline, and would want to accent that as much as possible....  and, I agree that the spoiler and bumblebee combo can look a little strange from some angles...

My 340 car came with a bumble bee stripe but since i changed the exterior color from plum crazy to hemi orange and the interior color from white to black and added a black vinyl top I figure what the heck and changed the stripe too from white bumble bee to a black side stripe.

I have both, the go wing and the bumble bee stripe. I like the looks of both together, but it is not right for everyone.   It's all about individual taste.
