I dont suppose someone asking a revelent question or posting a something somewhat similar bothers me.   We have all hijacked a post at least once or so.

Its not really hijacking... it's more like borrowing a thread temporarily. Like HH said, it comes back to the topic eventually.

So, guess what happened yesterday...

It's never bothered me much....and I know I've been guilty in the past.   :icon16:

I think Off Topic is for Off Topic threads, not labeling the posts as much.

How's that?  Should I go higher or lower?  To the left or to the right?

Any ideas what I should make for dinner?

I guess it depends on how bad it is hi jacked.  During conversations the topic leads to other topics and it happens.  I think as long as the conversation stays relevant it is ok.  Just my 2

:iagree:  Sometimes tangent posts may open interesting conversation relevent to the original thread.  Shed more light to it, sometimes.

It really doesn't bother me, heck sometimes I do it.  In the end, the conversation always comes back to the original topic.   :cooldancing:   ....Oldschool
