A Body update
« on: January 22, 2006 - 01:36:25 PM »
Well I checked em out thoroughly this time. She is a MAJOR project no doubt, but I somehow have connected on a personal level with this 69 barracuda fastback  :screwy: and I do see awesome potential there. Obviousy some panel repacements are in order to say the least  Amazingly when I check out the frame, It is in mint shape  :clapping: Some of the places you guys mentioned were correct as far as rust (trunk floor, floor pans etc...), but a solid frame all around is great news. I can pick her up for around $500, possibly lower, and a flatbed to Worcester around $100. I'll debate the pros, and cons this week, but I'll more than likely take her home Sat. hopefully. I know its not a Formula S, but I simply do not care.  :grinno:  Would appreciate your opinions though

that is workable. I bought mine for $450, still not restored though. If you dont buy it now it will be gone, but if you do buy it and change your mind you can sell it again. Plus we all know that it will be saved if you get it.

Thanks pink, I've been an E body guy from day one myself. I've had 5 Challengers so far (my fifth is my final one, maybe) but I've always had a soft spot for the A bodies. My R/T still comes first, but if I can get a hold of this one and put it on the back burner for a while, I'll be a very happy fella

R/T, it looks like it'd be a nice project car!!!!  Put some quarter panels on it, some more rust repair in the other areas and it'd be an awesome car!
