I figured the TX9 was something to do with formal black since it shows formal black for the TX9 at the bottom of the decode.  Just didn't know what for unless color of interior?  My program says PRODUCTION/YEAR CODE UNAVAILABLE all the time for the code in that position.

Yeah you were correct formal black, I didn't see what it called out specifically since it was used for several things.

The TX9 in the second row from the bottom is for the body of the car.

The TX9 at the start of the third row up from the bottom is for the roof of the car. If it had a vinyl top, the vinyl top code would be in that position. If it was a two-tone car the paint code for the top would be there.

EN2 is end of codes, assembly line 2.

000 is upper door frame paint - none.

No online decoder that I have seen yet is 100% accurate. Hopefully someday......

Here's a cool page I found to decode VIN #'s and Fender tags. Some common codes don't work but it's pretty handy.
