    I have a couple more pics of my 72 chally. I also need to replace a section of the firewall i have traced in white. If any one has a donor car that would be willing to cut off and ship to me let me know how much. You can email me at cranker93@yahoo.com. I would greatly appreciate the help as i cant find a parts car any where around me. Any way on with the pics.

    That's the same color my '72 was originally.  Are you keeping it the same color?  What are your plans for it?

    Steve: I am from NE Iowa. Around the waterloo area.

    Hopalong: No I am changing it to Sublime Green. It is going to be a Street/strip. Bigblock, Reverse manual valve body 727, 4.30 sg rear etc...... Just a fun driver.

    If anyone is willing to send me this piece I will pay for it. I am at a stand still until I get that piece.

    Hi Steve,
    You might want to give Jeff Bobst in Waverly, IA (319) 352-2511 a call.  He has got 2 or 3 parts cars in his back yard and a couple more out on a farm.  He might cut something off for you.

    I know its a little ways away, but I spoke to the guy a few weeks back, and he said he had some Challengers there, though pretty picked apart. Who knows maybe they'll cut one, and send it to ya. It's a least worth a shot.

    sorry i dont know anyplace to help you find what you need, but i didnt realize there was somone as close to me as you are cranker. your in the waterloo area and i live in Osage, only about an hour away. cudaman, where do you live? if you know somone in the Waverly area, that isnt very far from me either. sorry to hijack the post but im just interested.  :bigsmile:

    Hi guys,

    I live in Postville - in Northeast Iowa about 75 miles from Waterloo.  It's hard to find parts cars around here because anything not completely rusted out is getting restored.  I have a friend who has a couple of parts cars on his farm - I'll check them out this weekend.  Getting him to sell anything is next to impossible, but I'll give it a try.  He has one 74 318 shell and on 70 cuda that was wrecked many years ago, and a 72 Challenger.  I'll take some pictures when I'm there.

    thats sweet that there are 3 of us so close. i have been on this site for a long time and the closest to me has been 2 1/2 to 4 hours away. now there are 3 of us within about an hour or so   :woohoo:
    well there are or at least were pics of my car on the site a while back but they may have been deleted when the server change happened so i will post some now but dont laugh too hard. its a work just getting started in progress. hey cudaman if your buddy will sell, i have a 70 cuda badly in need of floorpans and if the pans are good in the 70 that he has maybe he would be interested in selling them if they are still good or the whole car for that matter would be fine too. 
    heres one pic of my beast, not much to look at but a diamond in the ruff!!
