A 7" 2x3 and an idea

I was board (ha ha) so I started carving on a block of 2x3.

That's really cool. Nice craftsmanship. Those nails remind of the chariots racing in Ben Hur movie. Do ya plan to take out other cars with it?  :rofl:

Thanks topcatcuda I didn't put the nails all the way in until final fit and finish.

It looks better than I ever expected. About 100 hrs. from start to finish.

that reminds me of a pinewood derby car. very nice work!!!  :burnout:
its still fresh in my mind because my boys were just in the pinewood derby for cub scouts. ill have to post pics of their cars. my older boy wanted a dodge ram pickup and my youngest boy wanted an alligator  lol ill post some pics if interested

The wheels are pinewood derby show wheels Moparbowhunter and thanks everyone for the complements.
When I started this my wife thought I was out of my mind. She thinks it is very cool now.
And Rev I still have all my fingers and no bandaids.

 :thumbsup: Fantastic ! I did a couple pinewood derby cars for my two boys a few ( more than a few !) years ago myself ! I carved a few small pieces myself, a shark, and alligator, a couple of submarines ect . . .
I know how painstaking it can be ! Great job ! ! !  :worshippy

Wow!  That's really nice!  It must've been hard to get everything even and symetric! Good Job!  :thumbsup:
