What size tires are you running on your Cuda
« on: January 23, 2006 - 06:06:57 PM »
What size tires are you running on your Cuda?  I'm going to buy some 15 x 7 rallye wheels and I'm trying to figure out what size tires I want.  I'm looking for a taller tire to help out with header to ground clearance, but something that also looks good.  Any suggestions or pictures would be greatly appreicated.

I have a Challenger but the difference is minimal.

I have 15x7" rallyes up front with 245/60's and 275/60's on 15x8" rallyes out back.
Ground clearance is really good, only the exhaust hangers come close and even that is minimal.

I've got a Cuda, and I'm running on the same rubber as NZ, only 235/60 in front. And NZ... again.. can't get enough of Lucy, she's a beauty.

Edit: Forgot all about header to ground clearence, to put it this way, my headers are banged up, but that has nothing with the tires to do. The shocks was totaly useless. Now I have bought new TTI's and new shocks and Hemi torsion bars to keep them from smashing into the ground. You can adjust your clearence with the torsion bars.  :working:

Guy's thanks for the replys.  NZ, thanks for the picts, that helps me get an idea of what size tire I want to run.

Has anyone bought new rallye rims for there car anytime recently?  I need to buy a set and I am trying to figure out where the best place is to get them.

I bought a set from Layson's a couple of years ago, simply because they were cheaper than Year One.

NZ440R/T, that is exactly the look I am after.  Are your wheels standard back spacing or custom?

Thanks, they are 4.5" (4-1/2") BS on all four wheels.
The wheels were purchased from Jegs and are the 56 series wheel.
