Hi everyone
long time reader of this great sight.Just bought new steel brake lines and would like to know how to keep
them from rusting.Do most of you paint them or maybe just clear coat them.If I should paint them which
kind of paint looks correct.Need advice thanks.

WOW It has been almost a year since you joined!! Glad you finally said something!!
I guess I would probably clear coat the lines if they are not stainless! Glad you enjoy the site and speak up more often!! Love to see some pics of your ride too!!

stainless wil not rust , the mild steel lines are galvanized & should alst years without rusting as well , you could clear coat them though
