New Guy in Berkeley Ca. Burnt orange AAR
« on: January 26, 2006 - 01:34:16 AM »
:working: Hello Mopar fans. I am Johnny, just got back into Mopar after a 16 year break. Just picked up a 1970 AAR needing resto. Now I am going Mopar crazy ! I am really glad I was told about this site ! It is really good to know that other people are as excited about Mopars as I am.
This is my first message board , so I might be a little slow.

Johnny,

Welcome to the board.  I love that color on an AAR.  It's the best of two worlds.  :cooldancing:

 :useless:

Sorry, I had to do it.

Hey Welcome aboard Johnny.  You don't live too far from me, I'm in Concord.
There's going to be a huge Mopar show/swap meet in Fremont around the first part of June, I'll post the date as soon as I find out, unless someone else doesn't beat me to it.

Hi Johnny.  Welcome to the board!  You've found the right place to meet other mopar fanatics.  This is a great group of people who love their mopars!  Sounds like a nice find on that AAR.  What kind of shape is it in?

Hi Johnny and welcome to the site. Your AAR should be a real slick car when you get it completed. I would love to have one myself. Stick around and enjoy all CC.COM has to offer. If you have any question ask them and remember we all love pictures of these Mopars.

Welcome to the site, Johnny!  It sounds like you found a great car to restore and I'll be looking forward to seeing another project unfold in here.  What is the history and options of your car?  To post any photos you may want to share, just click "Additional Options" below the "post reply/message" page then browse to get a photo uploaded from your computer.

:iagree: I will try to post pics for the board on tuesday.
Good to hear from all you guys !

Get ready its UGLY !! (although its beatiful to me) I had chase the critters out ( they ate my buildsheets  :swear: I am looking for where to start on it. I was thinking to do some mechanical to it, so I need a good source for 6 pack carb rebuilds/and brake parts. I also need some 340 hp ehaust manifolds and AAR pipes. I have headers that look like bagpipes !
I am thinking to just go nice driver with it.

Thanks for welcoming me aboard ! I really appreciate it !!
