Just checking with you guys
I have been gathering parts to try to get my engine started up.
It would be great to hear it run.
I am still hunting for 340 six pack heads, valve covers, and breather.

I have X heads w/adjustable rockers? need U withe offset springs.

Have you guys ever heard of power woindows and door lock on an E-body ? :feedback:

Johnny

Welcome, Johnny.  Your car looks OK.  No ebody is ugly to us.  Good luck with the project.
Yes, you could get power windows on ebodies.  But could you get them on AARs?

The car doesn't look too bad, Boss!  It looks quite well from those pics as I don't see much rust, if any.  That's always a plus. :grinyes:

I feel a little guilty like I should be doing a rotisery(can't spell) But, I just want a nice clean driver.

P.S. I want to start working on the brakes and wonder what the differnce is in the metal line sets. They ask whether you need a two piece in the front.

Also, someone was offering a video on replacing your trunk pan. Does anyone have any reference/books etc suggestions.

Still looking for correct valve covers/info on what power steering pump is correct.

Thanks .......

Here are some pics,

Thanks for the reply's !
P.S. I was trying to get an idle solenoid for my car DR1114429 and I got an NOS DR111442 instead. This one is correct for 1970 only 340 4bbl.
I got it from Donnie at NOSMOPAR email: Nosmopar@aol.com He is a good dude !
I paid $290.00 for it shipping incl., I hate to return it(the guy was really helpfull).
If anyone needs one and can come close to what I paid let me know. Or if you want to trade. It has to be soon though, so i don't leave the guy hanging.
Send me a message or email

Thanks
Johnny
