Not bad. I have a female pal that lives down there and hopefully I could see her again. I might just drive the Challenger down there. A good opportunity to see some sight seeing in the Challenger. Hmmmm..

Thanks Mike, just beautiful pics for sure, even the one with you in it (especially the background  :roflsmiley:), I'm so d@mn orney, I can't help myself at times, but you can only get away with it with friends, right,..... friend?

I sure hope to one day make that trip myself, but I'd also have to stop by Winslow Az, I'd have to look for that "flatbed Ford" and the gal driving it, because she'd not slow down to look at me  :roflsmiley:.  Thanks for sharing the pics, post away, this is a great country for beautiful scenery, no need to leave the good ole USA, but I would also one day like to visit Scottland and NZ ( the guy and the contry !).

MEk, did you go here? If you did, then you know like everybody else that went before what a waste of time and money to go see it.

No topcat, I didn't go there. Someone tipped me off as to how lame it was. I believe their quote was something like, they'd seen bigger pot holes than that. Looks like I saved a few bucks.  :grinyes:

It's part of the annual "Bay to Breakers" marathon. The marathon is a good cause raising money for lukemia. Hundreds of thousands of people watch or participate. BTW, if partial nudity disturbs you, do not explore the site.

Cool pics MEK. Yeah, I've been there too. What a fantastic place. Your timing going there in winter is perfect since the smog is a lot less, giving you a better scenic view.
TC where do you get this SMOG idea from? from what I know of the Grand Canyon there is NO smog!! the only stuff in the air is when there is a forest fire! then THAT really screws up the view. I was there last summer and there was 3 fires burning and you couldn't see much! They let the fires burn the Rangers told us to get rid of the under brush and let new stuff grow!!  :grinyes:
