There was an oiling problem with my 5.2 the last owner didnt like changing oil engine was nasty. worst motor ive seen including 35 year old motors, this one was 9.
anyways decided to just geter done right, the first time. total rebuild
the shop cleaned the tins for me with an alkoline tank,with what ever they use. not sure exactly but dang that stuff is cool there perfect. and in all the hard to get places.
tock about 9 work days to get er back, they shipped it out to Tacoma. just $1714.48
to bad the 360 I have wouldn't fit easily. with out changing everything and loosing the tbi.
truck has 100,030 miles 3rd motor 2 owners the two problems were oil related. the oil problem was the pick up was totally cloged (the shop thought it was black rtv like) and lost oil presure. was going to just do bearings and rings but it was out might as well get it all done. this was also faster by about 3 weeks. now to put in back in, after I presure wash the engine compartment saturday. Im tired of driving nissans, chevys nd saturns, I want my dodge back.
