**Our cars at Carlisle 2006**
« on: January 27, 2006 - 10:06:27 AM »
If we get 25 cars registered under cuda-challenger.com, we get a tent for free!  If someone is coming to the show for all 3 days and not bringing a car, I recomend buying a show ticket anyways as the price is about the same and you get a goodie bag to boot!!  Then make sure you register with the club name!!  We should work on this and make it work . . and if we get enough this year, we already secure our tent for next year too!   :woohoo:

When you register, there is a spot for car club.  In that spot, write "cuda-challenger.com"  This is computerized so we need to write it just like that so everyone gets counted.

Someone PLEASE straighten me out here.  :feedback: I was under the impression that if we got enough cars registered, then the NEXT year would be for free. If I'm wrong, it won't be the first time.  :banghead:

Here is what it says regarding the tent reservation.

Car Club Tent Reservations
Carlisle Events offers a FREE 20' x 20' tent to each car club that registers a minimum of 25 vehicles at an event for use as your club headquarters.

New clubs that want to participate or clubs that didn't meet the 25 vehicle requirement last year will need to make a $150 pre-payment. If the club meets the 25 vehicle requirement this year, (based on Carlisle Productions' computer registration records), the prepaid tent fee of $150 will be reimbursed after the event to the club official who initiated the arrangements.

The $150 pre-payment fee is waived for clubs that met the 25 vehicle requirement last year.

Each member must register individually for the show field. Be sure that they list their club name when registering. A club organizer can collect the registration forms and mail them together, or they can be mailed by each individual member. Payment must accompany each registration in order for that individual to be considered pre-registered.

Thanks 4C.  :worshippy

It was that pre-payment thing that kept sticking in my mind. So we get 25 this year, and they refund the check. I guess we got about halfway there last year, this year should be close with new members joining in on the fun.  :cooldancing:

WSM will be registered again, one year we brought the Charger too, but that's a lot, driving both and I'm not talking about the $$$, it's just a bit more than I/we want to deal with. I would love to get the Charger there again, but hey this is a Cuda-Challenger thing so.............. but we could register both and then give the free passes for two to someone who goes without their car, and it would be one more car registered under the club name for the tent next year.  :clapping:

Gates open daily at 7 a.m.
Adult admissions:

Thursday: $8
Friday: $8
Saturday: $9
Sunday: $8
Children 12 and under admitted free

This is the prices for spectators!

All-Chrysler Nationals Show field
Register a vehicle for the 2006 All-Chrysler Nationals Showfield. Includes weekend admission for two people.
$35

Now the $35.00 bucks is for you, your car and a guest!  I you are going to Carlisle with someone and are planning on going to the show for more than one day, it will be cheaper to pay the 35 buck for the weekend pass for 2 people!  2 people the other way could cost $48.00 at those prices!!  Even though you don't have a car, it's cheaper to prepay for the pass, plus you get a goodie bag too!!  Such a deal!!   :clapping:  :clapping:  :clapping:

**Definitely make sure you put "cuda-challenger.com" as your club name!!**

Hey WSM, I'd be interested in that free pass.  Otherwise, I may just register the Jessica Lynn, then not bring her.
