i was somewhat surprised to see the valence trim pass my "this ought to be enough" bid of $380 :dunno:

I was trying to find a SE tail panel for my dad's non-se challenger, but after looking at the prices I felt that he could just live with his painted assend. I'm just happy that I have a beautiful one for my car, would hate to pay those prices.

I've been looking for the piece that goes on the doors on ebay for quite a while and haven't even seen any.

I think I have a spare passengers door molding, dont know where its at or what its worth though :dunno:

Common if you haven't got them yet some of those pieces are showing up on ebay...
I just won a used set of the trim pieces which make up the 70 valence mldg...almost feel like i got a bargain :22yikes: that about takes care of the Challenger budget for Feb and Mar... :money:

I have the just below rear window trim for the vinyl roof and the little chrome pieces that capture the end of the vinyl down by the door front pillars by the hood. All in excellent condition. I de-vinyled my car and she will never go back to original. CP can vouch for me as we see each other at the Mopar Club meetings in Calgary. I will verify the condition (but I remeber it was excellent) and the lot is yours if you email me at       kiwirv6@shaw.ca

Okay, so I parted out an SE in 1981 and noticed that this SE had all of the belt line chrome and the rear tail panel so I saved it. I was missing one top quarter piece, when I found it on ebay here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4607621623&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I had to pay $51 for it but it completed my set. It's just that I don't have an SE! Does any body know what this complete set should sell for? I'm going to set a reserve on Ebay and don't know how hard this stuff is to find and it's value would go down if someone ever start repopping them. One of those links above shows the 3 hood pieces going for over $400!

The hood and fender set will be re-popped by late summer according to the Metro Parts guy I spoke with at the MATS show.
He does not have plans at this time for the front valence chrome at this time.
