Thanks, i guess you would be the first to know anyway, if you hear about it been relezed please post it. A dude i know made a intake of an 440 intake but that one dident run good(but he was soo evil that he sold it) but that dude is doing all kind of Frankenstein things(kind of oddball). Now its just how i can figur out to drop all the computerstuff and have it like an old one, but that aint easy, before this ends i will have a graduate in tech  ;D

I actually got the part# off of a picture on ebay,i think your buddy was pulling your chain ,port spacing is so drastically different between a 440 and  5.7 he'd have to be hoodeny.I ran the 300c intake because of the long runners it is a torque monster, and its only about 375.00 from chryler loaded. the only draw back is you have to change the timing cover to run it

Ok, i will gather some pictures and check. Yes and no dont know him soo well but have tryed to get things out of him, he said he cut it up and tigged it together, he have now put a 5,7 in a 80 Lincon :screwy: How much does the timingcover have to be modified? I think i wait untill the real ones are out, and if it takes years i have no choise then to go with the fuel injection.

the 300c type timing cover is about 70.00 new,to be truthfull though there is nothing wrong with the truck intake and i think you could rig a shaker bubble on it for a shaker hood which would be pretty cool

My ragtop has the 300c intake seems to work real well,i've also got a 70 hardtop which is getting a 6.1 and a 5 speed,i think i'm going to do something wild for an intake for that one,but it will be fuel injected

My plan from the begining was those two. The sixpackmodel i allready have one(and would be great to hide some 5.7 stuff under), but the crome one is very tempting thou....

Since i finelly bought a 2004 5.7L Hemi i did played it safe and bought one with a 5 speed trans and radiator, computer and everything for $2500. So if i dont get the carbintake and all that in time i just go for the injection right off since i now got it all
