    Hi folks, i have a tx9 ragtop cuda. I am in search of the original engine, which was pulled from the car in Danbury Conn, around 1978 at a bodyshop across from the old Van Houghton Dealership. It is a 340, and at that time had a 6-pk setup on it. Any help would be awesome, looking for the orig tranny also.     hey, i live in new milford, but i use to hang out in danbury, but i remember back in the early to mid 80's there was this black cuda convertable that was always cruizin around, but dont know if that was the car, but i do know people that are older then me that were into mopars, and also i know someone that had there car worked on , (body shop) in the early 80's maybe they might know something???? u never know. I had bought a green cuda conv. (f4) 340 back in the mid 80's  in new fairfield,  dont know if u remember that car. but i will keep my eyes and ears open!!!!!!

    i would guarentee that was the car. I'd appreciate ANY HELP. KEEP IN TOUCH, i live in maine so i don't know of any local folks, thank you

    I live in New Fairfield and I will keep an eye out for this as well. I also (coincidentally) own a 70 cuda 4sp that has a 340 in it. (Coded for a 383 HP) I am in the process of rebuiding a 383 to go back in..  My 340 came out of a 72 RoadRunner (back in my Bronx days (80's), so it's not the one you are looking for, but I will keep an eye out.......
