70-74 Cuda / Barracuda Wanted ~>Found<~
« on: January 29, 2006 - 10:33:38 PM »
I'm looking for a 70-74 Cuda or Barracuda. I'm not looking for anything over 10K, I wouldn't mind doing some work as a project car but I would like a ride that I can at least drive while I fix it up.

If anyone knows of a Cuda / Barracuda for sale in the VA or surrounding area for a reasonable price please let me know. I'm looking for a long term keeper/project car and do not plan on a quick fix/sell. Thanks.

I hope I find an old memory out there. Amazing how you can make a chioce to sell something you come to miss years later. I'm hoping to find a 71 cuda' like the one I sold but thats a pipe dream these days with a family and bills. However one can dream can't they? However All Cuda/B'cuda years are welcome!

Thanks for the welcome and I'm glad to see sites like this one where so many people are still love'n the mighty mopars!

Do you know if this is a running, driving car? Something that would make a 4-5 hour drive?

I got a hold of Tom today and I would have to say he is a down to earth guy. The 70 is out of price range but he is going to look around for me as I believe he has some later year possibilities. I hope he finds something for me, however I am still open to anyone else that might see this post and has a Cuda/Barracuda for sale.

BTW you have a very nice whip if that is yours in the picture.

Wish me luck!

Looks like my deal for the 73 fell through, looks like the owner wanted to keep it. Anyone else out there with a running driving Baarracuda or Cuda out there for a reasonable price in the VA or surrounding state area?

I know where a 1974 Cuda is that is a 360 magnum 3speed #32 of #32 made in 3speeds.  its at a dealer in South Dakota.  Im not looking for a 74 or else I would have bought this.  I cant remember the dealership name but I can try and find it for you whe nI get off work.

The info i remember about the car is this:

model 74 Plymouth Cuda
360 magnum 3speeds #32 of 32 made in 3speeds
All tags matching.
The car sat in a barn for 10-15years till the guy from the dealership bought it.
it has the original paint but would need a new paint job.
interior is all ok.
We asked about quarter panel rust and he said to call back later to talk to his son(we never got a chance to call back)

I was going to buy it for I believe it was $8000.00 or it might have been $9,000.00 I am not positive.  We only talked that one time for about 20minutes.  i was going to buy it, but I really did want a 70-72 :( Thisi s a tuff search on a budget of $9000.00 lol
