    Major rot? no rot? Was the body straight?

    Numbers matcing motor and trans?

    Matching Cuda Vin, door sticker and fender tags

    If it was a 'Cuda did it have a console? Rear tail chrome? Correct badges?  :droolingbounce:

    Can you tell I want a Cuda?

    And you say this was on a dealers lot?

     - It was running but again it has not really been driven in 10-15years.

     - he told me to call back to contact his sun to check on Quarter Panel Rust but said he didnt think there was rust on it or not alot.

     - Not sure never asked

     - yes they matched - It is still the original color from what i understand

     - The interior he said was in great condition did not ask about the rear tail(never do can be replaced for myself my dad has alot of old fenders hehe).

     - yes I can tell

    And you say this was on a dealers lot?
     - yes a dealer had it :)

    Sounds like a nice ride if it is still there. You are pretty far away as well, a long road trip might leave me in the middle of no where if it break down. Let me know if you find out it is still there and if it can make a really long road trip, we are taking Virginia long.

    Still hoping someone out there will sell me their 70-74 cuda/barracuda in the Virginia or surrounding area. A project car is what I'm looking for, any condition. I would just be happy to have one!!  :thumbsup:

    I may have found one, what do you guys think of this one?

    It is a 1973 'cuda 318 (maybe original motor)

    Pros- Mostly complete body, frame, floors, doors are whole and only have surface rust. AC / PB / PS, power train is there.

    Cons- Needs a Roof replacement (pretty got rot, see the pics), interior is spent, lower quarters need patching and Motor/Trans are suspect.

    Here is are some pics, let me know what you guys think and how much you would pay. :2cents:

    That looks pretty good Jim  . . .what's the frame rails look like?   First thing I would do is strip that car down and have it media blasted.  Then you could see for sure what is metal and what isn't!  Keep us updated!!   :bananasmi

    Frame is good from what I have been told, just surface rust. How much would you pay for this condition car?

    I checked the VIN and it is a 318. Although it is suspect, it is complete and is thought to be the original motor.

    How much would you pay for it?

    If the frame rails are good it should be worth 2K, mabe even 2500. I just find it interesting that there is a ralley hood on the car and it has a 'Cuda badge on the rear if its a 318 car. Do you know if the car is a BH23 or a BS23?

    In 73 and 74 they offered the 'cuda in a 318 flavor, 360 and I am not sure 440 was prefered. It is a BS car.

    I think '73 was 318 and 340 Cuda' and '74 the 340 became the 360.  No 440's after 71 in the Cuda's (Maybe just a few 72's)

    Yeah I wasn't too sure on the 440. I was retty sure it all big blocks were not longer offered and the largest motor offered was the 360. So, how much would you pay for the 'cuda?

    The guy wants way more than that ($4100), I think I could get it for $3000-$3500 delivered.
