Jeez, OS, I thought your car was incredible the way it was.... sure didn't look like it needed anything to me! Should be superb when she's done!

OS, if your car needed paint then mine needs an entire restoration! :roflsmiley:

Don't be stupid Mark! You're crazy if you mess with yours.... it's only original once, and yours is not shabby at all for 36 years old! (Heck, it's aged better than most of us..... myself included!!)

Are they gona take the window moldings off? Always cool to look under there.

Oh yes,  all glass and molding will be removed.  When it is time to do that--it will get done.  I will get the pics of it.  Patience Grasshopper.......    :cooldancing:    ...........Oldschool

As the Beast sits all alone in the shop, the body pros are slowly making progress.  Most of the body panels have been blocked and the front and rear glass has been removed.  I have brought the stainless steel window trim home and am in the process of smoothing and polishing it.  Thanks to qluber1 for the tips on trim work.  Sorry no pics this trip, I'll get em Monday or Tuesday and post em.

P.S. I finally purchased an enclosed car hauler to get the Beast to those far away events.  I'll get some pics of it also....  That's it for this week..........    :cooldancing:   ...Oldschool

Oh yes...another one of my favorite tasks  :stomp:  If you have a powerful buffer, be careful...it can get away from you really fast.  In less than a second you could have stainless spaghetti on your hands   :22yikes:

Great discussion in there.  I was able to say everything I wanted to.  It was somewhat one sided though.   :roflsmiley:   At least there was no arguing going on!       :cooldancing:   ....Oldschool

:iagree: Looking sweet OS. I can't wait for my babies to start looking like that. I am so jonezen to wrench on one let alone drive them... Both are not in my hands at the moment. Also sortive waiting to pull the 69 out of storage until my uncle moves into his new house and we set up a nice garage with all the cool tools. :cooldancing:  :drunk:
