Wow, the ACR is the Hemicuda of next gen? Quite a statement, but it kinda makes sense too. Look what I had the plessure to have viseting last summer. Truly a beast. :grinyes:

More pics on http://home.no.net/jvike/images/Viper/. Oh and welcome, nice collection you have had over the years. Especialy liked the pic with the 3 T/A's. I'm Joakim, a youngster @ 24.  :roflsmiley: I have a 1970 Barracuda, and I live in Norway. Vipers are NOT a regular site here. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is 1 of 2 ACR's outside US borders. The other one is in norway too. This one is registred in Sweden I belive, the guy visiting me sold it.

Let me know when you decide to sell the GTS /ACR Please !!

doubt I will....this is the one I drive, the other ones just sit in storage most of the time....

the "SERPENT"  2002 GTS/ACR...Snake Oyl exhaust, and gears are the only mods...they ride rough, but thats to be expected....

No, the guy that owned it is a Norwegian, but he was residented in Sweden (his wife is Swedish). He now lives in the Seattle area. He is pictured on one of the other pictures, guy with black pants /w red/white/gray stripes. His name is Kurt. He used to own a blue GTS that was signed by Carrol Shelby.

I bet there aren't too many Cudas in Norway either....any idea how many MOPARs there are in your country ???...

ever see "Wheels" magazine, I think it is published in Sweden ???

a photographer from Sweden by the name of Anders Odeholm used to come to Indiana every summer and take pictures of my cars....he shot as many MOPARs as I could get here....haven't seen him in several years....

Cuda's are not regular either. The only 1970 Model I have seen with my own eyes is mine! That is how rare they are. In fact I have only seen six Barracuda's\Cuda's with my own eyes. a 72, My 70 and 4 71 verts..  :sly: I belive there is only 1 original AAR and 1 original T/A here. Never seen them, but it's a widespread country. No original HemiCuda's here. There was one 71 model in the seventies, but it was sold to Sweden. How many mopars? I don't know. WPC Club of Norway has about 600 members. I read Wheels sometimes, but if it was several years ago, I have probably not seen your cars.

Hey Larry

Don't forget to inform these fine people to come cruise this summer at the Highway 38 Dinner.  My new hemi block is on the way and if I get wideroller on the move the road runner may make a few showings this summer.  I guess I will just have to cruise the T/A until then.  Wideroller is also going to finish the 71 for us.

There are quite a few Challengers and Cudas in Norway. Please visit WPC Club of Norway's annual National Mopar Muscle Car Meet for some pictures;

http://wpc.lmk.no/start.php?lang=&ID=galleri&menu=muskelbiltreff02

And I know of two original AAR Cudas (one of them not wearing lisence plates)
And two original Challenger T/As (none of them wearing lisence plates)

The 71 HemiCuda you mention was traded with a Swedish guy for two objects; a 70 Challenger 440 SixPack and a 70 HemiCuda. Picture and story in our club's magazine Mopar News #4-2005. Beside this HemiCuda object there is another 70 HemiCuda in the same region of Norway. Both within 15 minutes cruise from me . Please look up an old AMCAR Magazine #2-1987.

Some pearls to exist in our beautiful country!

It's amazing to me that there are thousands of american muscle cars in europe.
Just curious, Do they use salt on the roads for de-icing?

Hi Daytona
Just read all this thread this morning. Just wanted to say that for those of us who will probably only ever own 1 classic mopar it can be a little hard to conceive of somone owning so many and buying and selling them in such a seemingly casual fashion. However, that is no excuse for rudeness and I was pretty shocked at the way you were spoken to by my countryman NZ440. Anyhow, awesome collection you had (and have)   :droolingbounce: and you officially have my envy!  :worshippy
Cheers Paul

Paul,

...I want to thank you and everyone else for the warm welcomes and making this a fun place to visit....NZ is young and I guess I showed too many pix and details the first night, I was practicing posting pictures and thought some might enjoy seeing them....while I have owned some nice cars and still have some pretty nice stuff stored away, I just don't get real excited and I still treat cars as a casual occurence....I have encountered disbelief from others in the past so NZ was nothing new....I have no hard feelings towards him or anyone else, I just enjoy the cars for what they are(3,000 pounds of poorly engineered gas guzzling steel)...I know what I owned thru the years, many other people know the storys too so I don't have to make up stuff just to impress people I don't know...not my style....again thanx for the welcome and don't be too hard on you fellow countryman...

Larry,

Thank you for sharing the stories and especially the pictures.  Too bad the pics have been removed over the years.  The T/A is my absolute favorite model and I am cloning my 70 Challenger 340 into one.  Hope to have it done by the start of summer 2010.  I built the car to drive given the rarity of seeing a 70 Challenger actually on the road!

I would absolutely love to have pictures of your cars (past & present), especially the T/A's.  I'll provide you my email address if that works for you.

Thanks, Charlie

Shazam Batman, what a cool thread! It is a thrill to see someone who could own pretty much any car he wants consistently choose Mopars most of the time. You're a class act and I always dig the stories you tell.
