last picture tonite, I PROMISE !!!

I also owned the first HEMI Challenger ever made...it was an RT/SE automatic...JS29R0B100015...and yes, I sold it too ...it was a road test car in Car and Driver Magazine in Nov 69 I think...

You've got/had some super cool Mopar!!! How long ago did you sell this Challenger? Just wondering, I know of "a" 1st Hemi Challenger and it is the same color.

thank you all for the welcome.....I just heard about this site on another forum....

....I post regularly(HOURLY ALMOST) on the POA Forum(Prowler On Line) as "tangled up in BLUE"...

....I post some on the Corvette Forum as "1953 C5"

....I post some on the Viper Forum as "SERPENT INDIANA"

....I have started posting on the 2008 Challenger Forum as "JS29R0B", I have already got 2 (1 for my son) ordered from a local dealer, IF THEY MAKE THEM :bigshades:

....and now here as "Daytona", I was going to use "JS29R0B" here too, but the name was rejected as already in use....

....I will post more pictures and stories in the future, if it ever becomes boring let me know and I will pack it in...already got one guy down my neck here for posting pix of my ex cars  :grinyes:

probably 7-8 years ago, I sold it to Brownie Mascow in Michigan, he has since relocated.....the car was in lots of magazines thru the years(Hot Rod put 5 of my MOPARS in one issue), several magazine covers etc etc, lots of coffee table books....Johnny Lightning used its picture on a toy package several years ago....it has had a lot of publicity since I bought it in 1988....and it still gets a little press from time to time..the car is in the Carolinas now with the same owner I sold it to.......

ps....the 1st HEMICUDA belongs to a friend of mine too, it is also an Indiana car...

Hi Larry,
We talked within the last year, maybe about this time? You emailed the photo of the purple T/A so I recognized it. We talked about your TX9 Mr. Norms T/A with the rear window louvers, the pink one that is still in IN and the cream one with the green vinyl top, 311202.

Bring back any memories?

Check www.challengertaregistry.com to if you have not done so lately.

T/Ake care, and again, welcome to the site.

I had forgotten about the cream T/A.....wonder where that piece is these days...it might win the award for the ugliest T/A in existence  :grinyes:

good to see a familiar face on here....I just found out about this forum a few days ago....T/A Challengers are still my favorite MOPAR...tried to buy another AAR (black)last week, but was outbid at the last second....oh well......later, larry

Ahhhh...another Mopar guy who has the addiction. Must be something to do with our first names....Larry!     :D

A great collection of cars there! I too have been thru quite a few cars (90+), and like you when i first came on this site some people cant believe we can own so many cars and then sell em. I've always thought i was just renting them till the next guy came along!

Nz is a great guy, dont be too hard on him, at 23 he's just a pup compared to a lot of us...(I'm 46).

Keep posting the pics, cant get enough Mopars on here.

....I just turned 54 years old last October, and like you I have owned more cars than I care to count....I always wanted to improve what was in my garage, so I usually had to sell one to buy another, then I had 2 MOPARS, then 3 etc etc....I had 13 MOPARS at one time and figured that was too many ....I had a guy drive in from Florida to purchase a 71 CUDA 440 SIX BARREL (1989-1990, $38K), middle of the winter and we had to go to 3 different buildings to find the car, I had forgotten where it was stored.....I held some for years and others passed thru in a few weeks....I usually placed an ad in Hemmings the day I brought the car home to test the market where it would be.....many times they sold as soon as the new Hemmings hit the mailboxes....

NZ, yeah I figure he is a good kid, and it is probably difficult for him to understand how/why we (us older dogs) bought and sold so many of them....it was just fun, profitable too but the fun was what I was into it for....I got a look at reality when I figured I bought my first Dodge Daytona BEFORE NZ was even born  :22yikes:

pictured, the lost CUDA....we finally did find it and it was shipped to sunny Florida...

the calendar was shot just weeks before I bought the car, sad part, the girl is now almost 18 years older than in the picture.....hell, she is probably a granny by now  :22yikes:

I know where you are coming from, I've always enjoyed the variety of mopars passing thru my barn/garages.

13 at one time!  Got me beat by quite a bit, most i ever had at one time was 5.

I bow to your mopar collection, both past and present!      :worshippy

honestly, I was just kinda tired of storing all of them for so many years and was looking for a change...I was down to 5 MOPARS, I sold 3 of the cars to one guy and gave the last 2 T/A Challengers to my kids.....I started buying Vipers and Prowlers and driving them instead of storing them....although 2 of my Vipers still only have 400 miles on them, one does have about 6K miles...it is a gray/silver stripes 02 GTS/ACR(the HEMICUDA of the next generation).....
