Front leaf spring mount
« on: February 03, 2006 - 10:43:17 AM »
Anyone know an easy way of getting the leaf springs off of the front mount? Cut off wheel? I 'm not saving the spring or bolt, just don't want to damage mount. ???

Are they bolted on? I can see what looks to be bolts but the heads look rotted off.

they are studs if you look at the other side of the body mount you will see 4 nuts there, I would soak them with Mopar penetrating oil , use some heat & carefully back the nuts off & the whole spring & mount will remove from the body

an impact will never get in the body to remove the mount but it May help remove the bolt from the spring eye
