    Got an "A" body !

    The Challenger ain't goin nowhere but I just made a deal with a friend of my (matter of fact he's the guy I got the Challenger from) to trade some GM parts for a 69 Dart Swinger 340.  It's in pretty rough shape but very restorable.  Wouldn't be much except it's a real live (barely) Swinger 340 LM23P9B. I must be crazy.... but it was essentially free!

    We're havin a WHITEOUT here today.  I have to plow snow in a few minutes.  It'll be a few days before I can get pics. From the factory she's red with a black tail stripe, four speed.  Right now that very valuable hood has a huge hemi scoop on it (I wish I had a gun) those things are going for $800 on eblah so I'm not sure what I can do about that.  She's also in grey primer for the most part.  I'm going to need a LOT of parts but fotunately the sheetmetal isn't in too bad of shape.  I do need the driver's rear quarter but it comes with 2 excellent doors (along with the originals), and the front fenders are in decent shape. No engine or trans, but does include an 8 3/4, rallys.... I could go on and on but I'll spare you.  I'll get pics as soon as I can.  (yeah, I'm crazy for sure)  :screwy:

    Nice trade-off, Romi!!!  It does sound rough, but if you think it can be saved then by all means it has a fighting chance.  Congratulations and I look forward to seeing some photos of it. :thumbsup:

    It's restorable for sure.  The guy I got it from builds Mopar engines and he's going to store it for me till spring. Hopefully I can get back over there soon to get some pics. :woohoo:

    well i have posted pics of my barraacuda and its beyond rough  lol but with some good old fashioned elbow grease and some TLC they can both be sweet again. heres a couple pics of mine just so you can compare  lol
